In judicial practice, because the litigation law does not explicitly stipulate the obligation of forensic appraisers to testify (cross-examination) in court and the legal consequences of refusing to appear in court, nor does it stipulate specific safeguard measures for the personal and property safety of judicial appraisers and their families, coupled with the busy daily work of judicial appraisers, this leads to the fact that forensic appraisers will only testify in court (cross-examination) under special circumstances. The low court appearance rate of forensic appraisers has become a common phenomenon.
