- In the men's 5000m speed skating competition at the 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games, Wu Yu of the Chinese team performed amazingly, winning the gold medal with a time of 6:27.82, Liu Hanbin and Hanhati Muhamati won the second and third places respectively, and the Chinese team won gold, silver and bronze. Wu Yu was born in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province in 1997, and his sports road is a history of continuous struggle and progress. After representing Jinzhou in the 12th Provincial Games of Liaoning Province in 2014 and winning the gold medal in speed skating, he continued to train hard and constantly sharpen himself in high-level domestic competitions. After being selected for the national training team in 2022, his strength has greatly increased, and in 2023, he won the men's 5000m championship at the National Speed Skating Championships and broke the national record.
